Title: Famous ray of sun in Antelope Canyon
Photographer: Laurence Bruneau
Location: Antelope Canyon Navajo Nation Park
Caption: This is an iconic view of Antelope Canyon. This photo was taken in Upper Antelope Canyon but the Navajo name for Lower Antelope Canyon, Hazdistazi meaning "spiral rock arches", is so fitting for this picture as the sun shines on the rock walls that look like spirals. It may be my favorite place in the American West. You have to be there at the right time of the day to catch the sunshine in all its splendor, it's so worth it!
